Part Time Digital Marketing Coordinator

Purpose Statement

Sills Empowerment Solutions is seeking a Part Time Digital Marketing Coordinator to lead our online presence and engagement. This role is responsible for managing social media, content creation, SEO, and email marketing to expand our brand reach and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have a passion for digital storytelling, audience engagement, and data-driven strategies to attract, nurture, and convert potential clients.

 

As a remote-first business, we use digital marketing to connect with our audience and provide valuable career insights. We are looking for a Digital Marketing Coordinator who is passionate about content creation, brand storytelling, and community engagement to take our online presence to the next level. The ideal Digital Marketing Coordinator is a creative, organized, and analytical marketer who thrives in a fast-paced, digital-first environment. You should be comfortable managing multiple digital marketing channels, including social media, video content, email campaigns, and SEO-driven blog content. 

 

You are someone who:

• Loves content creation and knows how to capture attention in the crowded digital space.

• Understands social media algorithms and can create high-engagement posts on TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Threads.

• Can edit short-form videos that resonate with remote job seekers and professionals. 

• Is SEO-savvy and can optimize blog content to drive organic traffic.

• Has experience with email marketing and knows how to craft compelling newsletters and campaigns.

 

Essential Job Duties:

• Social Media & Content Creation

• Develop and manage content calendars for TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Threads.

• Create engaging and informative posts that align with brand messaging.

• Edit and repurpose short-form videos for various platforms.

• Engage with followers, responding to comments, messages, and community interactions.

• Monitor social media trends and analytics to improve engagement and reach.

 

Short-Form Video Editing

• Edit video content for Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts to drive engagement.

• Use CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, or other video tools to enhance visual storytelling.

• Optimize videos with captions, transitions, and trending audio to boost visibility.

 

SEO & Blog Content

• Research and implement SEO best practices to improve website traffic.

• Format and optimize blog posts for readability and search engine ranking.

• Identify trending topics in remote work and career development.

 

Email Marketing & Campaigns

• Create and schedule weekly email newsletters for Sills Empowerment Solutions' audience.

• Write persuasive subject lines and email copy to boost open rates.

• Segment email lists to improve targeting and personalization.

 

Analytics & Reporting

• Track and analyze key performance metrics across social media, blog, and email.

• Provide monthly reports on engagement, traffic, and conversions.

• Use insights to refine and improve marketing strategies.

• General Job Duties & Expectations:

• Represent Sills Empowerment Solutions professionally across all digital platforms.

• Adhere to brand voice, tone, and messaging guidelines.

• Stay up-to-date on digital marketing trends and best practices.

• Attend team meetings as required to align marketing efforts with business goals.

 

Experience Required:

Digital Marketing & Social Media Expertise

• Experience: 2-5 years in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing.

• Skills: Ability to create engaging content that resonates with an audience.

Video Editing & Creative Storytelling

• Experience: At least 1-3 years in video content editing for social media.

• Skills: Familiarity with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar tools.

SEO & Blog Content Management

• Experience: Writing and formatting SEO-optimized blog posts.

• Skills: Keyword research, blog structure, and basic SEO principles.

 Email Marketing & List Growth

• Experience: Working with email marketing tools like Mailchimp, ConvertKit, or Klaviyo.

• Skills: Ability to write compelling email copy that drives conversions.

 

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (preferred but not required).

Relevant certifications or proven experience in digital marketing, social media, or SEO are a plus.

Physical Expectations (Not Exhaustive)

 

Sills Empowerment Solutions operates in a remote-first environment. However, you may be required to:

• Sit or work on a computer for long periods of time.

• Create content in various settings (e.g., home office, co-working spaces, or events).

•  Attend virtual meetings, brainstorming sessions, and occasional in-person events (as needed).

 

Compensation & Work Environment

• Remote Position: Work from anywhere in the U.S.

• Part-time or Full-time: Open to discussion based on experience.

• Compensation: Based on experience ($25 – $30 per hour or project-based).

• Flexible Work Schedule: Results-driven, not time-tracking focused.
